Composition

Luxury vinyl planks and tiles that have a wood-plastic composite core are waterproof. A WPC core is made of recycled wood pulp and plastic composites. A foaming agent is also included to add softness underfoot. Padding, sometimes pre-attached, also adds cushioning as well as sound insulation. WPC flooring won't change structurally when exposed to standing water.
